Data Centers were my natural habitat for at least 20 years of my career. Even though people don’t realize the intricacies behind building a robust IT infrastructure, this video shows a good time lapse of what really embodies building a “real” Data Center which is the heart and sould of any Cloud Computing Service provider like Google, Amazon or even Facebook.
It’s easy to get onto your car on a regular weekend and drive from point A to point B without even wonder for a mere second how complex the construction of bridges, highways or even toll sites were in order to make it easier for you.
Below is a good representation of what I felt for many years before World Wide Web spread out when I needed to explain what kind of work I had to do on a daily basis. Back then nobody knew what a router or IP address were!!
